Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client regarding this Temporary to Permanent / Fixed Term Contract position. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing business. Our client is looking for a reliable and motivated Driver with a Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck (FLT) Licence to support their busy operation.

This role will primarily involve being on the shop floor and moving vans and stock to and from engineers on the shop floor. You may occasionally be required to cover driving from site to yard, and you would be driving panel vans and chassis vehicles up to 3.5T. This position is available on either a Temporary to Permanent basis or as a Fixed Term Contract which may be extended or become permanent and this will be discussed further at interview stage.

Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 day week, Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4pm

Salary: £13.45 per hour (Annual Salary £27,976.00)

Duties include:

  • Based on the shop floor and moving vans and stock to and from engineers on the shop floor
  • Driving panel vans and chassis vehicles up to 3.5T from site to yard
  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move goods and materials
  • Always following Health & Safety procedures
  • Supporting the wider team with any additional duties as required

Essential Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence
  • Previous experience in a driving or warehouse role
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Reliable with a flexible approach to work
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail
