Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast growing and forward thinking legal firm based in North Derbyshire. Our client was successful in achieving over £85M in client deals during the last year. This is on par with many long established firms in the area and demonstrates that they are fast becoming a major player on the scene. They are now looking for a Corporate Lawyer to join their team, ideally you will be at senior level with your own following and have a minimum 3+ years’ PQE of solid corporate law experience in private practice and be comfortable running your own caseload. Company Summary: The company has many years of experience within the team. Delivering a service to their clients, their way, which means listening and working with them is of the upmost importance and they truly believe in the team and the services they provide. Being business owners themselves, they understand the challenges which people meet, making them truly commercially minded and ensuring they are pragmatic in their approach with clients. The role: They are looking for a corporate commercial solicitor who is ready for a fresh change with this exciting up and coming business. They are looking for somebody who can hit the ground running and has the ability to run their own case load, deal with mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactional work as well as commercial matters. The company has work with a live caseload ready for you to get your teeth into so ideally, they need someone who doesn’t need to be heavily supervised. And if you have your own clients that’s great! An interest in business development would also be beneficial. Benefits: * Salary up to £100k Dep. on Exp. * Car parking space outside the office. * Westfield Health Care level 3. * 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays (pro rata for part time) – They will ordinarily close between Christmas and New Year (unless there are urgent client matters) and you would not have to save any holiday entitlement for this closure. * Working from home 1 day per week, but flexible. * A bonus relating to invoiced profit costs. * A separate bonus in relation to clients that you have introduced to a department that they do not work in. * A bonus in respect of new candidates (i.e. staff they then employ) that they introduce to the Company will undertake a varied range of corporate and commercial work as well as being involved in their business development activities. * Own desk and laptop * Nest pension scheme. * Hours of work are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, dictated by client/work demands. * There is no formal dress policy in the office (they are very informal) although at times business attire may be appropriate when meeting certain clients/for certain events.
