About the Client
Our client is looking for an organised and detail-focused Trade Compliance Administrator to support their international supply chain operations and ensure customs and trade compliance requirements are met. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an understanding of customs compliance who is confident working with data, documentation and international logistics.

The Role
As a Trade Compliance Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting international trade and supply chain activities, ensuring documentation, stock data and customs requirements are accurate and compliant. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Checking international trade paperwork for compliance
  • Understanding and applying Incoterms, commodity codes and rules of origin
  • Booking transport and tracking cargo to ensure correct movement and delivery
  • Providing customs clearance instructions
  • Maintaining internal trackers and records
  • Electronically filing declarations and highlighting any anomalies
  • Completing monthly CDS data reports and chasing missing import/export declarations
  • Providing suppliers with CMRs and other proof of import when required
  • Completing TSS declarations
  • Maintaining accurate stock profiles, including country of origin and commodity code data
  • Supporting with ad hoc trade compliance and supply chain requests

About You
We are looking for an organised and reliable individual with strong attention to detail and an understanding of customs compliance and international trade processes. You will ideally have:

  • GCSE-level education or equivalent – minimum
  • Understanding of customs compliance
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, commodity codes and rules of origin
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic Excel skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A flexible and reliable approach

Product training will be provided.
