Experienced Goalkeeping Coach β AF ProGK
Location: Chorley (evening-based coaching, multiple venues)
Pay: Up to Β£125 per day + performance bonuses

AF ProGK is expanding and we are looking to recruit an experienced, high-level Goalkeeping Coach to join our growing team. This role is suited to a coach who has worked within professional academies and/or professional and semi-professional football environments, and who is comfortable delivering sessions to an elite standard.
Role Overview
You will deliver high-quality, structured goalkeeping sessions to players operating at academy, development, and elite youth levels. Sessions are delivered in the evenings and follow a detailed curriculum aligned with modern professional academy methodology. There is genuine scope to build within the business, take on additional responsibility, and significantly increase earnings as AF ProGK continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver elite-level goalkeeping sessions in line with AF ProGK methodology
- Plan and coach structured sessions covering technical, tactical, physical, and psychological components
- Support and contribute to Individual Development Plans (IDPs/ILPs)
- Maintain professional standards consistent with professional academy and semi-professional environments
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and the wider AF ProGK team
- Represent AF ProGK to the highest professional standard
Candidate Profile β Essential Requirements
- Proven experience coaching goalkeepers within a professional academy
- Experience working in professional and/or semi-professional football
- UEFA / FA recognised Goalkeeping qualification (minimum UEFA GK B or FA Level equivalent)
- FA Safeguarding Children Certificate (in date)
- FA Emergency First Aid Certificate (in date)
- Strong understanding of modern goalkeeping principles and session design
- Ability to coach small groups and individuals to a high technical standard
- Professional, reliable, and ambitious
- Comfortable working evening hours
- Able to travel to Chorley
