About the Role

Anduril’s Deployment Operations group is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer to join our UK‑based team. As a member of the Technical Operations team, you will deploy and support Anduril’s Counter‑UAS systems worldwide, working early in product lifecycles and collaborating closely with engineering and mission operations teams. You will coach teammates and users, troubleshoot and refine product usage, advise account managers, and communicate recommendations for engineering improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Network+ and Linux+ or equivalent experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift 50–70 lbs and work in austere environments, climb towers, and use basic hand tools
  • Basic understanding of AC/DC power systems, generators, and load calculations
  • Proficiency with multimeter to measure voltage, current, and resistance
  • Termination of power cables with NEMA connectors and RJ45 connectors
  • Experience with fiber optics and RF systems (PtP, PtMP, mesh); understand basic antenna concepts and spectrum analysis
  • Systematic troubleshooting and documentation of systems
  • Ability to operate independently and in teams, interacting with customers and training users
  • High travel rate, both domestic and international; must have passport
  • Gather requirements from end‑users and communicate complex subjects with clarity and simplicity
  • Build trust cross‑functionally, navigate customer hierarchies, and influence teams in a peer‑leadership capacity
  • Proven ability to master a technical system and support it in austere environments
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving in unstructured situations at the interface of hardware, software, and networking
  • Naturally inquisitive; independently research and learn new technical components or concepts
  • Develop complex operational and logistics plans to move people and things quickly over long distances and in unfamiliar locations
  • Willingness to travel to remote regions for up to two months at a time (up to 80% of the year)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain UK security clearance
  • Meet health and medical requirements in advance of deployments

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Prior military or overseas contracting experience
  • Familiarity with Linux OS and ability to obtain data from software platforms using command‑line tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with tools and electronics
