ABOUT THE TEAM

The Multinational Digital Infrastructure team is responsible for designing, deploying, and sustaining the sovereign and multinational systems that power Anduril’s global Maritime and AUKUS missions. As a Cloud Engineer, you will design and implement cloud environments that enable Anduril to effectively operate sovereign programmes in the U.K. and Australia, as well as expanding to other nations as Anduril’s global presence increases. You will work across engineering, security, and product teams to ensure our digital infrastructure is secure, scalable, and ready to support emerging mission demands.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise cloud landing zones, security and infrastructure tooling.
  • Collaborate with teams across the U.S. and Australia to enable secure connectivity between other sovereign cloud environments.
  • Partner with government customers, authorizing officials (AOs), cybersecurity teams, and policy shops to accelerate accreditation, break through legacy barriers, and unlock access for cross-nation engineering teams.
  • Implement infrastructure automation (IaC), observability tooling, and secure configuration baselines to support scalable, repeatable environment builds.
  • Work closely with product, autonomy, Lattice, and Maritime engineering teams to integrate infrastructure capabilities with platform development, testing, and deployment workflows.
  • Act as a technical leader during environment standup, troubleshooting, and validation events; ensure classified systems perform reliably in support of mission-critical needs.
  • Support development of next-generation secure architectures for multinational development, data sharing, and mission system integration across Maritime platforms.
  • Serve as a technical representative during customer events, exercises, and operational demonstrations to ensure infrastructure readiness and mission success.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a UK security clearance to SC level - see UK Security Vetting’s guidance pack for further details.
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM field or equivalent engineering experience.
  • Technical depth in one or more: cloud infrastructure, secure networking, systems engineering, DevSecOps, platform architecture, cybersecurity, identity & access management.
  • Specific technology will include:
  • Cloud - AWS, Azure
  • Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, CloudFormation
  • SCM - GitHub Enterprise
  • CI/CD - CircleCI, Gitlab
  • IDAM + SSO - Okta, AWS Identity Center
  • 8+ years of relevant engineering, infrastructure, or technical program execution experience.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required - typically around 10%.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience with secure systems engineering, ideally within UK Government or Defence.
    • Experience in other highly regulated industries may also be relevant - for example Financial Services, Energy or Healthcare.
    • Experience provisioning large enterprise cloud platforms for hundreds or thousands of users.
    • Experience designing or maintaining distributed systems, secure networks, or infrastructure supporting autonomy, AI/ML, or big data workloads.
    • Demonstrated ability to work across technical disciplines, influence without authority, and operate in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
    • Experience working with international partners or navigating multi-nation technical or policy workflows.
