About the Role
This role is part of the Site Reliability team within the Maneuver Dominance (MD) software engineering function, which delivers enabling infrastructure that underpins all MD products and projects. As a Site Reliability Engineer your role will be pivotal to the design and build of complex infrastructure systems—including cloud‑based, on‑premise, and distributed tactical edge. This role is incredibly varied—a typical day could see you building capabilities for our Hardware Integration Labs, supporting our software and robotics engineers with on‑vehicle or on‑device payload integration, or adding robust security controls to our core systems.
Required Experience / Qualifications
- Experience working in highly secure/regulated environments—for example Defence, Government, Energy or Financial Services
- Linux operating systems, scripting and automation tooling—particularly Ubuntu and RHEL
- Virtualisation technology such as VMWare or KVM/QEMU
- Network security including TLS, PKI, firewalls, VLANs
- Ability to obtain/maintain a UK Security Clearance to a minimum of SC level
- Physical hardware—including rack‑mounted storage, compute and networking
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tooling
- Hardening standards such as FIPS, STIG and CIS
- Compliance standards such as ISO, NIST, Secure by Design
- Air‑gapped/highly restricted networks
- Network cryptography and VPN solutions—both software and accelerated/dedicated hardware
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full‑time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
