About the Role
Anduril’s Deployment Operations group seeks a Technical Operations Engineer in the UK. You will deploy, support, and train users of Anduril’s Counter‑UAS and counter‑intrusion systems worldwide. Your work will involve early product lifecycle support, live demonstrations, system troubleshooting, and advising on operational planning. You will coach teammates, build trust across disciplines, and drive clarity for complex hardware, software, and networking problems.
Required Qualifications
- Network+ and Linux+ or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50‑70 lbs and work in austere environments
- Experienced with AC/DC power systems, generators, load calculations, and electrical fault finding
- Experience with RF systems (PtP, PtMP, mesh) and basic antenna concepts & spectrum analysis
- Systematic troubleshooting and documentation of systems
- Ability to operate independently and in teams; interact with customers and train users
- High travel rate (domestic & international); passport required
- Ability to gather requirements, communicate and teach complex subjects, and influence cross‑functional teams
- Proven ability to master a technical system and support it in austere environments
- Strong problem‑solving aptitude at the interface of hardware, software, and networking
- Natural curiosity and ability to research and learn new technical components
- Experience developing operational and logistics plans for remote or unfamiliar locations
- Willingness to travel to remote regions up to two months at a time (up to 80% of the year)
- Ability to obtain and maintain UK security clearance
- Ability to meet health and medical requirements in advance of deployments
Preferred Qualifications
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
- Prior military or overseas contracting experience
- Familiarity with Linux OS and command‑line data extraction
- Strong mechanical aptitude with tools and electronics
Eligibility
UK residents eligible to work in the UK and able to obtain and maintain UK security clearance are required. Passport and willingness to travel for long periods are mandatory.
