A hands-on Real Estate Investment Director for a single family office, responsible for an international portfolio of real estate assets across the full lifecycle from acquisition through disposal, working with the Investment Committee and third-party teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing portfolio performance in line with Investment Committee objectives;
  • Managing assets directly and through third-party teams;
  • Setting business plans and KPIs, and leading asset disposals and capital decisions;
  • Evaluating new investment opportunities;
  • Overseeing property management and technical compliance across jurisdictions;
  • Monitoring financials and budgets and preparing accounts and tax returns;
  • Navigating complex lease structures and regulatory frameworks;
  • Managing stakeholder relationships with partners, lenders and advisors.

The ideal candidate has commercial real estate asset management experience in international markets; the ability to manage assets across multiple disciplines without relying on a single specialist function; an understanding of international planning and regulatory frameworks; experience with both direct and third-party asset management; financial literacy with modelling experience; and strong cross-cultural communication skills.
