Job role

The Supply Chain Administrator will report to the Head of Supply.

This role is to provide support to the Supply Chain, assisting in sustaining all activity, with the aim to develop and be involved in selected projects. This includes acting as the main contact and coordinator for the 3rd party logistic providers.

Main responsibilities

  • Responsible for all orders processing as well as the sales system upkeep alongside database manager
  • Be the main contact for 3rd party logistic provider on the chilled business, with contribution to quarterly review of the same.
  • Liaise with customers and logistic suppliers to manage the delivery requirements and discrepancies
  • Report discrepancies with improvement plan
  • Analyse the reason for the wastage, and recharge back the suppliers regarding the agreed terms and conditions
  • Responsible for understanding wastage levels and then manage the sale of wastage to a broker at a ‘good ‘price, or destroy it with cost efficiency
  • Report department KPI’s including service level & wastage
  • Manage stock and place orders with our factories in the continent

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will either be a graduate, having recently completed a technical degree, or having worked in the reality of retail/logistics.

They should be detail driven and able to work to challenging deadlines in a changing environment. They should be able to work both independently and with the wider team and business where required. The candidate will be able to recognise the priorities from their tasks and act upon this accordingly. As the role largely involves the management of a third party, the candidate should be able to present and communicate the needs of the business in order to achieve the best outcome.
