School Cleaner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the school

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces in commercial settings
• Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls as needed
• Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
• Attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
