We’re looking for a Member of Technical Staff (Robotics) to join our early engineering team in London and Hertfordshire. This is a rare opportunity to help shape a new category of consumer technology from the ground up. You’ll work across the full robotics stack - from physical systems and rapid prototyping to controls, embedded systems, and AI integration. As an early-stage company, we value builders with curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to wear multiple hats.
What You’ll Work On
- Robotics design and electromechanical systems
- CAD modelling and rapid prototyping
- 3D printing and fabrication workflows
- Systems controls and embedded software
- Sensor integration and hardware bring-up
- Robotics software engineering and experimentation
- Cross-functional R&D across AI, robotics, and product
We’re Looking For
- Strong engineering fundamentals and hands-on technical ability
- Experience in robotics, mechatronics, embedded systems, or related fields
- Familiarity with CAD tools and rapid prototyping workflows
- Ability to move quickly from concept to working prototype
- Comfort operating in an ambiguous, fast-moving startup environment
- A genuine passion for embodied AI and the future of human-machine interaction
