Andrews operate a fleet of Modern Volvo Tippers, Low Loaders, Road Sweepers and Grab Lorries as well as an extensive fleet of plant machinery and light vans. Due to continuing commitments, we are currently looking to recruit an additional EXPERIENCED HGV class 1 (Cat CE) Low Loader driver for our fleet in Puddletown Road, Wareham, Dorset.
Experience with Tippers, Low Loaders & moving plant equipment is an advantage. The position is Monday - Friday and Saturday mornings (on a rota), with a salary negotiable depending on experience. Additional working hours are available at times when workloads are high and the need to keep the fleet operational is of key importance to the business.
The successful candidate will need to be experienced in HGV tipper work and have a good knowledge of the Dorset area. They must have a valid Cat CE licence, a Driver digital tacho card, and an in-date Driver CPC qualification card. Being able to work unsupervised and complete the necessary documentation is essential, as is awareness of health and safety obligations at all times.
The successful candidate can expect to enjoy a varied and interesting occupation with a good salary to reflect their skills and dedication to the company. Responsibilities include:
- Daily walk around vehicle inspections
- General cleaning of vehicles and trailers inside & out
- Good housekeeping routines to meet H&S requirements
- Good communication with company management personnel
