The Role
As an HGV Driver based at our Nottingham depot, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery, collection and transportation of equipment to customer sites across the region.
Working closely with internal teams and customers, you’ll help ensure our industry-leading service standards are maintained at all times.
Key responsibilities include
- Delivering and collecting equipment safely and professionally.
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport legislation.
- Representing Andrews Sykes positively when interacting with customers.
- Supporting depot operations and assisting colleagues where required.
- Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed on schedule.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.
- What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you’ll have
- A valid HGV driving licence.
- Previous experience within a similar driving role.
- Plant hire industry experience (preferred).
- ALLMI and/or ADR qualifications (desirable).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- A proactive, highly motivated attitude.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- The ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and customers alike.
