We’re working with a well-established, family-run plant hire company specialising in dust suppression systems, towable water bowsers, and site equipment – and they’re looking for a Yard Fitter to join their team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of light plant and specialist equipment
- Working on dust suppression units, water bowsers, pumps, hoses, and small engines
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
- Preparing equipment ready for hire
- Attending occasional breakdowns on customer sites
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days look the same.
What they’re looking for:
You don’t need to come from heavy plant. If you’re mechanically minded and know your way around engines, you’ll be considered. Backgrounds that fit well:
- Plant hire / tool hire
- Garden machinery / small engines
