The retrofit market is exploding. The challenge is finding businesses genuinely doing it properly. A rapidly growing Design & Build contractor specialising in domestic retrofit and decarbonisation is looking to appoint an experienced Retrofit Project Manager to support the delivery of PAS2035 compliant energy efficiency projects across domestic housing portfolios. This is a business heavily involved in supporting the UK’s Net Zero targets through real-world retrofit delivery and they are continuing to scale quickly.

Projects include:

  • Whole-house retrofit programmes
  • Social housing upgrades
  • Domestic energy efficiency projects
  • Fabric-first improvements
  • Heat pump installations
  • Solar PV and battery storage systems
  • Residential conversions and upgrade works

This role is about real ownership. You will play a key role in coordinating retrofit delivery, ensuring quality and compliance standards are achieved, while helping shape projects that genuinely improve housing performance and sustainability.

The role:

  • Deliver PAS2035 compliant retrofit projects
  • Coordinate Retrofit Coordinators, Designers and installers
  • Manage programme delivery, quality assurance and compliance
  • Support installation and construction phases
  • Ensure PAS2030, PAS2035 and MCS compliance
  • Oversee installer performance and inspections
  • Manage resident liaison within occupied properties
  • Handle snagging, defects and audit readiness

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience within domestic retrofit or energy efficiency projects
  • Strong knowledge of PAS2035 requirements
  • Experience working with PAS2030-certified installers
  • Understanding of low-carbon technologies and fabric-first approaches
  • Experience within occupied properties or social housing projects
  • Strong quality assurance and compliance awareness

Package:

  • Total package up to £62,500
  • Base salary between £40,000–£55,000 DOE
  • 36 days holiday including public holidays
