A fast-growing Design & Build consultancy is looking to appoint a commercially sharp and relationship-driven Public Sector Business Development Manager to help expand their footprint across public sector and commercial markets. The business is already delivering high-impact projects across:
- PAS2035 Retrofit
- Decarbonisation Programmes
- Mechanical & Electrical Contracting
- Energy Consultancy
- Design & Build Construction
Now they need someone capable of opening doors, building relationships before tenders even land, and becoming a recognised name within the sector. This role is all about influence, momentum and commercial ownership.
You will be:
- Building relationships with local authorities, framework providers, housing associations, healthcare and education sectors
- Developing and growing the public sector pipeline
- Identifying opportunities within low-carbon and sustainable construction
- Supporting bid strategy and increasing tender success rates
- Driving long-term client relationships and repeat business
- Working closely with technical and bid teams to shape growth strategy
What we are looking for:
- Proven business development experience within construction, building services or energy sectors
