As a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer you will play a pivotal role in delivering highquality designs for various Data Centres and Mission Critical healthcare projects. Working within a multidisciplinary team you will ensure that both existing and new business opportunities are cultivated while maintaining profitability. Your expertise will be vital in fostering the growth of a technically skilled engineering team in this highperforming sector while also exploring new avenues for business development. You will handle a diverse portfolio of projects both domestically and internationally focusing primarily on the Data Centre and Mission Critical sectors. Utilizing the latest software design packages you will lead mechanical services design for large projects and manage small to mediumsized initiatives. Your responsibilities will include developing strategic project concepts that align with client briefs and regulatory standards ensuring solid technical delivery and mentoring junior staff to enhance their skills. Additionally you will collaborate with the team leader to monitor financial aspects promote innovative working practices and uphold a strong industry reputation through adherence to quality management and risk control procedures. Requirements Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering Architectural Engineering or Building Services Engineering or equivalent qualification. You will have experience working in a multidisciplinary environment with excellent communication skills with both internal and external clients and a teambased work approach you will appreciate that holistic working is central to good design and you will have experience across a range of projects. Experience in Date Centre projects is desirable for this role. Proficient in the latest computer modelling design software such as: Revit and BIM is desirable for this role.
