If you’ve worked on surfacing gangs and know how a job should be run, this is your chance to take the lead. We’re looking for a Road Surfacing Team Leader to manage sites across Scotland, leading operatives, plant, and subcontractors to deliver high‑quality surfacing works safely and efficiently. This is a hands‑on role. You’ll be on site, making decisions, keeping jobs moving, and holding standards.

The Role

  • Lead surfacing gangs on active sites across the region
  • Manage day‑to‑day site operations, including plant and subcontractors
  • Plan and execute daily works to meet programme and output targets
  • Ensure all health, safety, and environmental standards are met
  • Deliver work to spec and secure client sign‑off at the end of each shift
  • Minimise waste, reduce remedials, and drive efficiency on site
  • Complete site records, briefings, and compliance documentation
