We are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established business operating across infrastructure, heavy construction and the wider building materials sector. This is an opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of projects, work closely with operational teams and directly influence project profitability.

The Role

  • You will support the commercial management of projects from initial procurement through to final account.
  • Responsibilities will include:
    • Managing project costs and commercial performance
    • Preparing valuations and applications
    • Managing subcontractor procurement
    • Reviewing and agreeing subcontractor payments
    • Identifying and managing variations
    • Supporting monthly commercial reporting
    • Monitoring commercial risk
    • Working closely with project and operational teams
    • Maintaining relationships with clients and supply chain partners
    • Supporting contract administration
    • Maximising commercial efficiency across assigned projects

You will ideally have experience within:

We will consider established Quantity Surveyors and ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyors ready to take on greater responsibility. A relevant surveying or commercial qualification would be advantageous.
