The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
In this role you will work on a diverse portfolio of projects across the UK and internationally advising clients on electrical and mechanical engineering services in existing buildings. You ll prepare fee proposals and manage refurbishment and upgrade projects from start to finish. Key tasks include conducting condition surveys developing designs and specifications and producing feasibility studies for infrastructure replacements or upgrades. You ll ensure compliance with UK and EU regulations review development proposals and lead electrical services design on large projects as well as MEP design on smaller projects. Additional responsibilities include managing project teams leading meetings and ensuring quality and technical standards are met. Regular reporting on costs and resources to the team leader will also be part of the role. Requirements What We Are Looking For Excellent technical knowledge in Electrical Design Engineering and interdisciplinary design across all project stages. Proficient in using standards and codes for building services. Knowledge of Wiring Regulations Fire Detection Systems General and Emergency Lighting design. Experience conducting MEP building services surveys with minimal supervision. Ability to peer review with a strong understanding of regulatory and standards documentation. Experience working on a variety of projects through different RIBA stages including existing buildings. Ability to undertake essential calculations apply electrical theory and understand 3phase LV systems. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients project managers and contractors. Previous consultancy experience appreciating the value of complementary specialisms such as acoustics and fire engineering. Autonomous approach: able to lead small to medium projects and support large projects. Chartered engineer or close to achieving it. Strong mentoring and supervisory skills for junior staff members.
