We are looking for 3 experienced Crusher Operators for an upcoming short-term project in Portishead, Bristol. This requirement is for experienced operators who have personally operated crushing plant within quarrying, aggregates, recycling, demolition or materials processing environments. This is not a general Plant Operative or Excavator Operator position.

Role

  • Supporting crushing operations on a Tier 1 infrastructure project, working as part of an established site team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Operating and monitoring crushing plant
  • Carrying out plant start-up and shutdown procedures
  • Monitoring material flow and crusher performance
  • Identifying blockages, faults or abnormal plant operation
  • Completing daily plant and safety checks
  • Supporting safe and efficient crushing operations
  • Following site RAMS, inductions and safety procedures
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping around the crushing plant

What We Need

Applicants must have previous hands-on experience personally operating crushing equipment. We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience as a:

  • Crusher Operator
  • Crushing Plant Operator
  • Mobile Crusher Operator
  • Crushing & Screening Operator
  • Primary Crusher Operator

Experience operating equipment from manufacturers such as Sandvik, Metso, Powerscreen, McCloskey, Kleemann, Terex Finlay or similar would be beneficial. Previous experience within aggregates, quarrying, recycling, demolition or heavy materials processing is highly desirable.

Site Compliance

The project is being delivered within a Tier 1 infrastructure environment. PTS is not required. Operators will be required to meet the project's site and rail-related compliance requirements, with full details confirmed prior to mobilisation. Orange PPE will be required.
