Are you an HGV Mechanic looking for a role where you can work on a genuine heavy‑duty fleet? We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Mechanic to support a busy transport operation within the aggregates and building materials sector. You will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of commercial vehicles operating in demanding working environments.
The Role
- Servicing and maintaining HGV vehicles
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing preventative maintenance inspections
- Carrying out repairs to engines, braking systems and drivetrains
- Supporting vehicle breakdowns
- Preparing vehicles for inspections and compliance checks
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records
- Identifying recurring faults
- Working closely with transport and operational teams
- Ensuring vehicles remain safe and operational

- HGV Mechanic
- HGV Technician
- Commercial Vehicle Technician

You will need practical experience maintaining commercial vehicles and strong mechanical fault‑finding skills. Experience working with tippers, bulk transport or construction vehicles would be particularly relevant.
