We are recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to support a busy aggregates and heavy industrial operation in the Dartford area. You will join an experienced maintenance team responsible for keeping critical production equipment safe, reliable and operational.

The Role

  • Mechanical breakdown response and fault diagnosis
  • Planned and preventative maintenance
  • Maintaining conveyors and bulk material handling systems
  • Replacing bearings, rollers, belts and mechanical components
  • Working on gearboxes, pumps, motors and drive systems
  • Welding and fabrication repairs
  • Supporting planned shutdowns
  • Completing plant inspections
  • Identifying recurring faults and recommending improvements
  • Working closely with production and operational teams
  • Maintaining high health and safety standards
