We are recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to support a busy aggregates and heavy industrial operation in the Dartford area. You will join an experienced maintenance team responsible for keeping critical production equipment safe, reliable and operational.
The Role
- Mechanical breakdown response and fault diagnosis
- Planned and preventative maintenance
- Maintaining conveyors and bulk material handling systems
- Replacing bearings, rollers, belts and mechanical components
- Working on gearboxes, pumps, motors and drive systems
- Welding and fabrication repairs
- Supporting planned shutdowns
- Completing plant inspections
- Identifying recurring faults and recommending improvements
- Working closely with production and operational teams
- Maintaining high health and safety standards
