Are you an experienced Fabrication Supervisor, Sheet Metal Supervisor or Manufacturing Team Leader looking for a night-shift leadership position?
We are recruiting for a hands‑on Metal Work Supervisor to lead a night‑shift production team within a busy manufacturing environment.
This role would suit someone who understands sheet metal and fabrication but also knows how to organise people, maintain production standards and keep work moving safely and efficiently.
The Role
- Supervise the night‑shift metalwork team
- Allocate work and manage daily production priorities
- Monitor output, quality and productivity
- Support press brake, fabrication and sheet‑metal operations
- Ensure work is completed to drawings and specifications
- Identify and resolve production issues
- Maintain Health & Safety standards
- Support training and development of team members
- Monitor machine and equipment requirements
- Work with maintenance teams where issues arise
- Report production performance and outstanding actions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Supervisory or Team Leader experience within manufacturing
- Strong fabrication / sheet-metal background
- Understanding of press brake and metal-forming operations
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Strong people‑management capability
- Comfortable working permanent nights
- Health & Safety focused
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills
