Are you an experienced Press Brake Operator looking for a stable night-shift position within a busy manufacturing environment?
We are recruiting for an experienced operator to support sheet-metal production, producing accurate components to specification while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
The Role
- Set and operate press brake machinery
- Produce sheet-metal components from drawings
- Carry out machine set-up and adjustments
- Check dimensions and finished-component quality
- Work accurately to engineering drawings
- Select appropriate tooling
- Carry out routine machine checks
- Identify production or quality issues
- Maintain accurate production records
- Work closely with supervisors and wider manufacturing teams
- Maintain strong Health & Safety standards
What We’re Looking For
- Previous press brake operating experience
- Sheet-metal or fabrication background
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Strong measurement and inspection skills
- Good understanding of tolerances
- Comfortable working permanent nights
- Reliable and quality-focused approach
Experience with Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic or similar CNC press brake equipment would be advantageous
