Are you an experienced Plant Manager who understands heavy industrial production and knows how to get the best from people, plant and process?

We are recruiting for a Plant Manager to lead a busy aggregates operation in East Anglia.

This is a hands‑on operational leadership role with responsibility for safety, production, plant performance and team development.

The Role

You will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day performance of the operation, including:

  • Leading site employees and operational teams
  • Managing production output
  • Ensuring customer demand and production requirements are achieved
  • Driving health and safety standards
  • Monitoring plant availability and performance
  • Working closely with engineering and maintenance teams
  • Managing operational costs and resources
  • Identifying production bottlenecks
  • Driving continuous improvement
  • Managing contractors and suppliers
  • Maintaining environmental and operational compliance
  • Developing and coaching employees

What We Are Looking For

You will ideally have management experience within:

  • Aggregates
  • Quarrying
  • Asphalt
  • Concrete
  • Cement
  • Recycling
  • Heavy manufacturing
  • Bulk materials

You will need strong operational leadership skills and a practical understanding of heavy industrial plant.
