Are you an experienced Plant Manager who understands heavy industrial production and knows how to get the best from people, plant and process?
We are recruiting for a Plant Manager to lead a busy aggregates operation in East Anglia.
This is a hands‑on operational leadership role with responsibility for safety, production, plant performance and team development.
The Role
You will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day performance of the operation, including:
- Leading site employees and operational teams
- Managing production output
- Ensuring customer demand and production requirements are achieved
- Driving health and safety standards
- Monitoring plant availability and performance
- Working closely with engineering and maintenance teams
- Managing operational costs and resources
- Identifying production bottlenecks
- Driving continuous improvement
- Managing contractors and suppliers
- Maintaining environmental and operational compliance
- Developing and coaching employees
What We Are Looking For
You will ideally have management experience within:
- Aggregates
- Quarrying
- Asphalt
- Concrete
- Cement
- Recycling
- Heavy manufacturing
- Bulk materials
You will need strong operational leadership skills and a practical understanding of heavy industrial plant.
