Job Overview
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor, you will be responsible for reactive, corrective, and proactive maintenance to keep our plant running smoothly. If you have a passion for safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote health and safety standards across all depot operations, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Perform reactive and planned maintenance to maintain equipment capacity and value, contributing to the development of safe working methods.
- Address plant breakdowns promptly, ensuring temporary fixes are followed up with permanent solutions.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment, keeping accurate records of all maintenance activities.
- Support and train operatives in inspection and maintenance tasks, ensuring plant availability through a structured PPM/PMR scheme.
- Ensure all plant and other defects are reported correctly and timely.
- Confirm the plant is complying with ISO 19001 quality standards.
- Comply with company health, safety, and environmental policies, highlighting any issues appropriately.
- Undertake additional duties and ad hoc projects as required by the business.

- Proven experience in reactive and planned maintenance within a production or industrial environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct risk assessments and develop safe working methods.
