About the Role
As a Health & Safety Trainer/Consultant, you will:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality health and safety training sessions (e.g., NEBOSH, SMSTS).
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies tailored to client needs.
- Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations.
- Provide consultancy services to a variety of industries, including construction and manufacturing.
- Provide expert guidance to clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to uphold our reputation as a trusted HSE partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations.
- Deliver practical, hands-on training sessions to individuals and groups.
- Investigate incidents and implement actionable recommendations.
- Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices.
About You
Youll be a self-motivated professional with strong communication and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety.
- NEBOSH General and Construction Certificates (essential).
- SMSTS Certification (preferred).
- Experience:
- Proven track record in health and safety training, consultancy, or management.
- Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations.
- Background in construction or similar high-risk industries.
- Soft Skills:
- A collaborative approach to mentoring and coaching.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Confidence in building client relationships and handling complex challenges.
