My client, an award-winning Michelin Guide gastro pub based in a prime Edinburgh city centre location, is looking for a talented Junior Sous Chef to join one of the coolest kitchen teams in the business. Named in The Michelin Guide 2024 and aiming for a Bib Gourmand this year, as Junior Sous Chef you'll help deliver simple, clean and contemporary dishes that consistently wow guests!
Utilising only the freshest local produce with a focused seasonal approach, the guests here enjoy experiencing an eclectic modern Scottish and European menu, with the best service and a welcoming atmosphere. As Junior Sous Chef, cooking must be your greatest passion with creativity at the heart of everything you do. Having a keen interest in sustainability would also be a plus.
As Junior Sous Chef, you will have the opportunity to work on all sections of the kitchen where you can develop both your technical skills and kitchen management while working with a super chilled, relaxed team. You'll ensure that this gastro style restaurant maintains its outstanding reputation as one of the premier destination dining venues in Edinburgh!
