Are you a head chef who enjoys using local fresh ingredients to produce modern British dishes with creative twists?
My client, a luxury country house hotel based in the beautiful Cotswold town of Stonehouse, is looking for a talented head chef to oversee the running of its incredibly popular fresh food à la carte restaurant & thriving C&B business!
Utilising outstanding local produce to deliver a menu showcasing the best of the Cotswolds, as head chef you'll be responsible for creating simple, clean and contemporary dishes that consistently delight guests!
Given its profile, the property also services many high-profile weddings, corporate functions and events across the year.
Working on a 40 hour per week contract with paid overtime, you'll have the support of an established brigade of 7 chefs who combine tremendous talent with a real desire to improve and progress their own careers. Taking a firm interest in their development is extremely important.
Strong kitchen management skills are essential here. You'll be given full autonomy to run the food operation, maintaining a strong GP and ensuring the department remains profitable.
