Andrew Martin is a British interiors brand with extraordinary heritage, global inspiration and a distinctive founder-led spirit. We are now at an exciting inflection point — evolving that creative energy into a more defined, ownable product DNA that is both true to our roots and built for sustainable growth. Furniture sits at the heart of this opportunity.
We have a broad and characterful furniture portfolio, with clear permission to create expressive, atmospheric and layered interiors. The next phase, however, calls for greater discipline — sharper portfolio choices, clearer category roles, stronger innovation planning, improved quality and margin management, and a product pipeline that is strategically aligned to customer, channel and brand positioning.
The Role
We are looking for a Head of Product: Furniture to bring together category leadership, commercial rigour and creative judgement. This is not simply a product development role — it is a category leadership role. You will own the furniture portfolio end-to-end and help build a product engine that transitions Andrew Martin from founder-led instinct and individual launches into a repeatable, scalable and sustainable growth model. This is a pivotal position: part portfolio leader, part strategist, part product translator. You will define what Andrew Martin furniture stands for today, shape what it should become next, and ensure it delivers both brand elevation and profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, manage and evolve the Andrew Martin furniture portfolio
- Develop a clear category strategy, product roadmap and innovation pipeline
- Translate market, customer and competitor insight into actionable product direction
- Own and drive performance across revenue, margin, pricing and stock efficiency
- Create clear, commercially grounded product briefs
- Ensure alignment across design, sourcing, supply chain and go-to-market teams
- Partner closely with CEO, Founder and cross-functional leadership to balance creativity with commercial discipline
- Build a more connected and strategic approach to product across channels, customers and price architecture
About You
You are an experienced product, category or buying leader, ideally within interiors, furniture, home, lifestyle, premium consumer goods or design-led retail. You bring:
- Strong category management and portfolio ownership experience
- A proven ability to build product pipelines and innovation roadmaps
- Deep commercial understanding across revenue, margin, pricing and channel performance
- Experience working cross-functionally with design, sourcing and supply chain
- A strong eye for product, materials, design and trends
- Excellent customer and competitor insight capability
- Confidence balancing creative ambition with commercial discipline
- Experience thriving in a founder-led or entrepreneurial environment
- The ability to translate broad creative direction into clear product choices and executional focus
This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of an iconic interiors brand — defining its product DNA and building the engine that drives the next phase of growth. If you are excited by the challenge of blending creativity, strategy and commercial impact, we'd love to hear from you. Apply now or get in touch to learn more.
