We’re recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join the Construction team of a leading UK housebuilder for a site in the Milton Keynes area. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality residential developments, supporting the Site Manager in the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of projects.
The Role
- Reporting to the Construction Director, you’ll assist in managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring:
- Strong health & safety standards are implemented and maintained
- Site teams are motivated, supported, and working to clear targets
- Build programmes are delivered in line with technical and planning requirements
- Quality standards meet building regulations and warranty provider expectations (NHBC/LABC)
- Accurate site records and progress reports are maintained
- Site presentation remains to a high standard at all times
About You
- Experience as an Assistant Site Manager with a high-volume housebuilder
- Up-to-date knowledge of health & safety and building legislation
- Valid CSCS, SSSTS and First Aid certificates
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- IT proficient (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Committed to maintaining safe and inclusive working environments
