Job Opportunity: Buyer or Senior Buyer

ACR is collaborating with a successful House Builder located in Cambridge, seeking to hire a Buyer or Senior Buyer to join their team.

Responsibilities include:

1. Preparing material tenders for projects.
2. Managing supplier accounts, including raising payments, reviewing and assessing price increases, and preparing and settling final accounts.
3. Reviewing and procuring material requests where appropriate.
4. Conducting detailed package review meetings and driving value engineering opportunities for design and scope information.
5. Managing the financial aspects of the material budget for projects.
6. Identifying and establishing appropriate products to enhance business efficiency.
7. Attending design team meetings and reviewing drawing changes.
8. Implementing the buying function in line with the company\’s Commercial Policies & Procedures Manual.
9. Producing valuation reports to monitor cost movements and reporting to the Board of Directors quarterly.

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate must have prior experience in house building and proficiency with COINS.
