Located in the picturesque village of Amberley in the West Sussex countryside, Amberley Castle is a unique luxury hotel with 900 years of history. It holds 4 AA red stars, 3 AA rosettes, and is a member of Relais & Châteaux, reflecting quality and style.

SERVICE CHARGE – We pay our service charge monthly. 100% of the service charge is shared among all team members. The service charge can be in the region of £300 a month (around £3,600 per year) for a full-time employee. The hotel may also offer off-site staff accommodation in our two staff houses within walking distance to the hotel to help relocation and settling into the local area.

Key responsibilities

  • Hosting guests from check-in to check-out, which could include booking tables, advising on local hotspots, or simply engaging in conversation.

  • Working as one team and supporting other departments when needed.
