Location: One of the most elegant country house hotels in the Cotswolds, Buckland Manor is set in ten acres of stunning grounds. With 4 AA red stars, 3 AA rosettes, and a member of Relais & Châteaux, Buckland Manor offers employees the opportunity to work within a traditional, yet friendly English country house hotel.
SERVICE CHARGE - We pay our team service charge each month! This service charge all goes into one pot, and 100% of that service charge is then shared amongst all the team at the hotel - every penny received is paid out to the team. Service charge can be in the region of £305 a month (around £3,600 per year) over and above base pay, for a full-time employee. The hotel may be able to offer on-site staff accommodation in order to help the newest members of the team settle into life at the hotel and local area, plus free parking is available on-site.
We are looking for a Night Porter to join our team for two nights per week with some additional nights when required for holiday cover. The hours are from 11pm to 7.30am. As a Night Porter you will:
- Keep the hotel and all of our guests safe overnight.
- Ensure compliance by keeping on top of the nightly audits.
- Answer any questions our guests may have overnight.
- Provide a handover to day staff about what happened overnight.
- Maintain the hotel’s appearance by tidying overnight.
- Assist the restaurant team by preparing the restaurant for breakfast.
