As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for proactively generating new business and developing existing relationships across corporate, leisure, meetings, events, and private dining. Working closely with the General Manager and wider leadership team, you will help position The Bath Priory as a destination of choice in Bath and beyond. This is a part-time role (24 hours per week), offering flexibility while giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the hotel’s commercial performance.

At the heart of the hotel is our celebrated 3 AA Rosette Priory Restaurant, offering refined seasonal dining with spectacular views over our award‑winning gardens. Alongside this sits our relaxed and vibrant Pantry Restaurant, our elegant terrace for alfresco dining, and a range of private spaces ideal for events, celebrations, and meetings. Your role will be to showcase all that we offer, creating compelling reasons for guests, businesses, and event planners to choose The Bath Priory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively drive new business across accommodation, meetings & events, private dining, and leisure segments
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with local businesses, agents, and partners
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop targeted sales initiatives
  • Manage enquiries from initial contact through to conversion with the assistance of the event coordinator
  • Represent the hotel at networking events, site visits, and familiarisation trips
  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure a seamless guest journey
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting of sales activity and performance
  • Be a proud ambassador for The Bath Priory and the Brownsword brand
