Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Production Operative to support the manufacturing process at our facility in Abingdon. This role focuses on sub-assemblies as part of a production team, where you’ll contribute to maintaining high standards and meeting ambitious production goals. Whether you're an experienced problem solver or new and eager to learn, this role offers hands-on opportunities to develop your skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the manufacture, testing, and inspection of product sub-assemblies.
- Completing assembly tasks while ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Following production schedules to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Keeping workspaces clean, organised, and safe.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and other internal procedures.
- Providing support in other manufacturing areas when required.
Qualifications
- A basic understanding of workshop tools, both power and manual.
- General education to a good standard.
- The ability (or willingness to learn) to read drawings and follow work instructions.
