An opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Toolmaker to play a key role within a forward-thinking and innovative organization within the Repairs and Maintenance department. This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to high-quality production processes.
Responsibilities
- Planning and executing work to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Operating manual machinery, such as mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM sinkers.
- Relevant engineering qualification or a time-served apprenticeship.
- Familiarity with hot runner systems, unscrewing mould tools, and progression strip tools.
- Laser welding experience (desirable but not mandatory).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer literacy for operational duties.
- A strong mechanical aptitude, coupled with a proactive mindset towards learning and skills development.
- Inspection and testing of tools to ensure they meet technical specifications.
