The predicted salary is between 34000 - 40000 £ per year.
We are looking for a Toolmaker on a permanent basis in the Middlesex area preferably with experience in the manufacture of Injection Mould tools or Press tools. The main duties will be to repair, modify and maintain existing production tooling.
The Toolmaker will ideally have the following attributes:
- Experienced or apprentice time served
- Read Technical Engineering drawings
- CNC shop experience beneficial
- Abrasive wheels regulation certified
- Able to verbally communicate effectively at all levels
- Injection moulded processes and tooling experience
- Excellent attention to detail
The Toolmaker role will involve:
- Repairing, modifying & maintaining existing production tooling
- Operate all tooling & equipment safely
- Use of milling machines, lathes & grinders
- Maintain high standard of cleanliness
- Producing work with high quality surface finish
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Ensure correct labelling of tools
- Good housekeeping to 5S standards
- Log completed tool maintenance and repair to databases
