My client are specialists in the design and manufacture a range of products using a range of different processes to a variety of industries in the Oxfordshire area. The successful candidate will have a strong precision Engineering background and be highly competent with GD&T. The company will also consider looking at Quality Engineers looking to step up and develop into a management role.

The Quality Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Engineering background - preferably HNC qualified or equivalent work-based experience
  • Precision machining environment background
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Highly competent with GD&T
  • Good knowledge of ISO9001 standard
  • Ensuring compliance to quality standards and procedures
  • Experienced with using CMM
  • Good problem-solving skills with use of RCA tools
  • Innovative, creative and good leadership qualities

The Quality Manager role will involve:

  • Developing and managing the QMS in relation to ISO9001
  • Leading Continuous Improvement
  • Training and mentoring staff within the quality department
  • Streamlining quality process and procedures
  • Liaising with a variety of departments and external stakeholders
  • Attending staff meetings
  • Ensuring compliance to all policies and procedures
  • Conducting internal audits
