We are looking for a CAD Technician, CAD Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Draughtsman or similar CAD focused engineering position on a permanent basis in the Wigan area. Your main duties will be assisting with the day-to-day activities of the engineering and manufacturing teams through CAD duties as well as customer facing responsibilities and various other tasks.
The CAD Technician / Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Previous experience in a similar CAD focused role within manufacturing.
- Experience of working within a manufacturing business / environment.
- Able to communicate with other Manufacturing and Engineering teams.
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Understanding of Inventor or similar CAD packages.
The CAD Engineer / Technician role will involve:
- Making alterations to various Engineering and CAD drawings.
- Liaising with Management on what products and components need altering.
- Managing time day to day, to ensure project is completed to schedule.
