JOB- Quality EngineerLOCATION- HampshireTERM- PermanentSALARY- £40,000-£50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)We are looking for a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis in the Hampshire area to support the existing quality assurance activities. This will include; internal auditing both from a business process and manufacturing compliance perspective and coordinating associated actions.
Additionally, performing data analysis to identify improvement opportunities with regards to both product returns and internal CoPQ.The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: Degree qualified or experience working in similar role3-5 years experience working with highly regulated standards beneficial. IATF 16949, ISO13485 or AS9100Structured approach to problem solving methodologiesCertified Lead auditorSelf-motivated individual, able to set own priorities and work independentlyRight first time approachAbility to work calmly under pressureThe Quality Engineer role will involve: Drive standardisation on processes along with waste elimination and continuous improvementWorking on NPI products and supplier quality development, implementing new processesHands on role investigating NCR'sEstablish short & long term goals with PDCA methodologyCollating material compliance data, report writing where necessaryResolve customer issues in a timely mannerOverseeing and conducting First Article Inspection ReportsSupporting customer and 3rd party auditsMonitor supplier performance, define process parameter to ensure process capabilityMonitor output, quality & scrap rates.
