Health & Safety & Compliance Administrator Location: Abingdon Salary: Β£30,000 per annum Hours: Full Time | Monday to Friday | Permanent The Opportunity A well-established engineering and manufacturing business is looking to recruit a proactive Health & Safety & Compliance Administrator to support its Quality, Health & Safety and Compliance functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment who enjoys organisation, compliance and continuous improvement. You'll play a key role in ensuring health & safety systems, quality processes and compliance activities run smoothly across the business. Key Responsibilities Coordinate planned maintenance schedules, statutory inspections and servicing activities. Maintain health & safety, quality and compliance records. Assist with creating and reviewing Risk Assessments, RAMS and COSHH assessments. Arrange contractor visits and maintain contractor documentation, permits and insurance records. Coordinate calibration schedules, asset registers and compliance documentation. Support internal audits, workplace inspections and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with incident investigations and follow up corrective actions. Produce reports, spreadsheets and management documentation. Coordinate health & safety training records and toolbox talks. Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure actions are completed within agreed timescales. About You We're looking for someone who has: Previous experience within a Health & Safety, Compliance, Quality or QHSE administration role. Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment. A good understanding of Health & Safety legislation. IOSH Managing Safely or similar qualification (desirable). Experience with ISO 9001 and quality management systems. Knowledge of Risk Assessments, COSHH and RAMS. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and SharePoint. Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy. A proactive attitude with the ability to communicate confidently across all levels of the business.
