Working Days: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays for private events.

The Role

As Bar & Floor Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the venue. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth bar and floor service, supporting the team and maintaining high standards throughout every shift.. You will be a hands‑on supervisor who leads by example and helps create a welcoming experience for every customer..

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the bar and floor service.
• Lead and support the team during service.
• Deliver consistently high standards of customer service.
• Ensure customers are welcomed and looked after throughout their visit.
• Manage the smooth flow of service during busy periods.
• Prepare the venue for opening each day.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure the bar, floor and service areas are clean, organised and fully prepared.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate any requirements to management.
• Ensure drinks and food service standards are maintained.
• Handle customer queries and resolve any issues professionally.
• Support the team with general service duties when required.
• Ensure health, safety and cleanliness standards are followed.
• Take responsibility for the venue when required during your shift.
• Complete end-of-day checks and ensure the venue is securely closed.
• Work occasional Saturdays when private events are taking place.

What We’re Looking For

• Have previous experience in a bar, restaurant, pub or hospitality supervisory role.
• Be confident managing both bar and floor service.
• Have excellent customer service skills.
• Be hands‑on and willing to support the team during busy periods.
• Be reliable, organised and able to work independently.
• Have good communication and leadership skills.
• Be comfortable working as part of a small team.
• Have a positive and professional attitude.
• Be confident dealing with customers and resolving problems.
• Have good attention to detail and take pride in maintaining high standards.
