Job Description
Reporting to the Bar Manager, you will lead our team in the charming, refurbished old Bank Building turned cozy café bar and 6 Bank Building apartments. Your role is key in creating a memorable experience for guests by blending historic beauty with modern comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Lead during service as the Bar Supervisor
- Ensure smooth operations in the absence of the Bar Manager
- Train and guide colleagues to meet our standards
- Understand and meet targets and objectives
- Greet customers and address their needs
- Ensure compliance with food and drink standards
- Have thorough knowledge of our offerings
- Supervise staff for excellent service
- Handle guest concerns effectively
- Maintain equipment and facilities
- Manage stock and order supplies
- Contribute to menu ideas and promotions
- Prioritize sustainability and efficiency
- Uphold health and safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and report issues promptly
- Open and close the café bar
- Support Bank Building apartments operations when required
Accountabilities:
- Supervising team members in the Safehouse Café Bar
Required Criteria:
- Experience within a Food and Beverage role
- Proven experience of supervising and directing others, while demonstrating a hands‑on approach
- Customer service experience
- Good communication and organisational skills

- Experience within the hospitality industry as a supervisor
