What is the job?
This position combines the roles of Food and Beverage Supervisor, overseeing the culinary needs of asylum seeker guests, with the responsibilities of a Hotel Duty Manager, ensuring smooth hotel operations and handling administrative duties in the absence of the General Manager. The role demands attention to guest satisfaction, follow policies related to Asylum seeker contract, efficient team leadership to resolve any issues, work closely with Mears to implement policies and deal with any Service User related issues and adept handling of varied tasks within a supportive and welcoming environment. Job role will change in future for this position when Hotel reopens for General public.

About The Role
Your day to day as the Food and Beverage Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the food and beverage operations within the hotel, catering to the specific needs and preferences of asylum seeker guests. This includes:
- Planning and coordinating menus sensitive to diverse dietary requirements and cultural preferences.
- Ensuring high standards of service and quality in all food and beverage offerings.
- Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining budgetary guidelines.
- Training and supervising food and beverage staff to provide excellent service while fostering an inclusive and respectful atmosphere.
Additionally, as the Hotel Duty Manager, your role will involve:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel in the absence of the Operations Manager.
- Handling guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting.
- Ensuring compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Collaborating with various departments to maintain a seamless guest experience.
