Job Summary

Location: Holiday Inn, 40 Hope Street

As a Housekeeping Team Member – you’ll make sure our rooms and suites are always ‘fresh and welcoming’ for our guests after a busy day at work – creating a haven for them to escape and relax in or to get a bit of last‑minute work done.

Hours

16, 24 & 32 hours per week available.

Role Responsibilities

  • Make sure rooms are always at their best – meet standards and create a memorable experience for guests.
  • Assist guests with items such as toothbrushes or directions.
  • Keep supervisors updated on room service progress and alert them to any repairs needed.
  • Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment when required.
  • Stay organized – manage supplies and amenities while minimising waste.
  • Reunite items with owners and log any lost and found property.
  • Wear uniform and name badge with pride.
  • Perform other ad‑hoc duties when the team needs support.
  • Monitor and control supplies and minimise waste within all housekeeping areas.
  • Report, hand in, and log lost and found items according to department procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service.
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects.
  • Assist with turndown duties.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.
  • Attend all relevant departmental, hotel, and company training.

Required Criteria

  • 6 months experience in Housekeeping
  • Ability to work within a team and also independently
  • High standards of attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills and flexible with regards to working hours
  • Ability to communicate and follow instruction
  • Clear understanding of speaking and understanding English

Desired Criteria

  • Experience within the Hospitality, care provider or retail sectors.

Salary and Contract

Salary: From £10.40 Yearly to £12.94 Yearly

Contract Type: parttime
