Job Overview
We are looking for a Housekeeping Team Member to maintain the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and suites, support guests with small requests, and contribute to a high-quality guest experience in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Responsibilities
- Keep rooms at their best, meeting and exceeding the layout and service standards that ensure a special guest experience.
- Assist guests with requests such as toothbrushes or directions.
- Keep supervisors updated on room‑service progress and alert them to repair needs.
- Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment when required.
- Organise and minimise waste by maintaining supplies and amenities.
- Reunite lost items with owners and log any lost and found property.
- Present yourself smartly, wearing your uniform and badge with pride.
- Perform ad‑hoc duties to support the team during unexpected moments.
- Monitor and control supplies and amenities, and minimise waste within all housekeeping areas.
- Log all lost and found items according to departmental procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service.
- Assist with deep‑cleaning projects and turndown duties.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- Attend all relevant departmental, hotel and company training.
