What is the Job?

This exciting position offers an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our estates department, based at our corporate headquarters. As an integral part of the estates team, you will work closely with the estates manager and on-site maintenance engineers spearheading the execution of practices across our portfolio of hotel and commercial properties, upholding our stringent quality benchmarks and delivering outstanding experiences for the guests and clients. You will gain exposure to various facets of property management and receive training across a spectrum of skills. This role empowers you to contribute significantly to delivering outstanding experiences for the guests and clients frequenting our establishments.

About The Role

Your day to day:

  • Handle scheduled and unplanned maintenance requirements for the hotels and property portfolio from listing the ticket, obtaining quotes from contractors and ensuring prompt and complete resolution of the issue.
  • Dealing with repair requests based on priority with the aim to be capable of prioritising these requests on your own.
  • Complete administrative tasks with the estates department and with property management and tenant liaison.
  • Dealing with issues with systems and equipment and escalates to Line Manager when required.
  • Complete Service Charge Budgets and Reconciliations for Commercial properties.
  • Scheduling of fire & lift safety service visits and other systems.
  • Assist the Estates team and hotels with Preventative Planned Maintenance schedules as required and create user documents as a reference.
  • Be involved in minor but exciting projects across the group.
  • To work collaboratively across teams and perform other tasks and duties as requested by management.
  • Liaise with Line Manager to ensure procedures are correct and policies complied with.

  • Strong skills in computer applications in Microsoft suite and Cloud applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience of working in a team in a fast-paced environment
